Since installing a new Streaming Computer on June 3 I have been chasing a variety of broadcast audio issues. Today, I noticed the kbps rate in the Stream Overly System was only 24 kbps.
This is the lowest it can be. When I purchased Radio Monterey this is the rate it was streaming at that time. I did not know it was that low but when I found out I had it increased. It costs more, but it is better audio.
I’ve notified the Technical Team and we will schedule to raise this bit rate on the Streaming Computer so we can produce a better quality audio. I apologize for any inconvenience experienced while listening. We are always looking to improve the quality of your Radio Monterey experience.
