Radio Monterey is Back Up and Running

We had some unusual activity Saturday, July 9 with the broadcast of Radio Monterey. First, it shifted the kbps from 128 to 24, magically on its own. Next it deleted the streaming encoder file so it never connected to our streaming server in Virginia.

It took the team from Slable several hours to get us back up and running, then I had to repair the corrupted Registry files, clean up the hard drive and do a full virus/spyware scan on the computer to make sure there wasn’t some secret little bugger buggering our broadcast.

It is now after midnight, we’ve been at this for six hours, it is now time for some sleep.  Thank you for your patience as we journey through the land of bits bytes and .mp3s as we continue to improve the Radio Monterey listening experience.
